I bought my car "Hyundai Santro - GLS 1" in May 1999. In the six years of driving the car all over the country, I have found it to be a very sturdy and reliable car. I have travelled to Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan, Jaipur, Bikaner, Nainital, Ranikhet and also on my trekking expeditions every year. So it was with a very sad heart that i decided to part with it and buy another car. HOLD IT FOLKS !!! I just went ahead and bought another Santro, exchanging the old car for the new one. Santro Xing is also as good as it gets going, though a patch less formidable than the earlier Santro that I had.

    On the top you can see the front and the back view of the old model of the car and on the right are it's interiors. Lots of changes are there in the new Santro Xing, which I will be highlighting very soon. Santro Xing is quite spacious and comfortable. I found that driving it is also a pleasure.

TIPS AND TRICKS

    If ever, by chance, you switch off your ignition with the air conditioner on, then the settings of the 8 Bit microprocessor inside the engine changes, increasing the fuel consumption. To rectify this all you have to do is simply disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery for around 30 seconds and then re-connect it. This will cause the microprocessor to revert back to it's default setting.
